TFWA World Exhibition Cannes, a tremendous success

At PVM-GTR, we can look back on a tremendously successful TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes and we would like to take this opportunity to bring you up to date on some of the best events, successes and fun.

Frontier Awards
One of the highlights of the show took place on Wednesday evening the traditional, glitter and glamour gala night, as always organized by the famous Frontier Magazine. Also, this year, PVM-GTR co-sponsored this prestigious event. The presentation of the Buyers Forum Awards (Gold, Silver and Bronze) by our managing director, Mark Laros, was a very rewarding moment. The awards went to Liquidity, Inc. Pinky Vodka (Gold), Tatteossian Gulliver Watch and Grill Cufflinks Set (Silver) and Coty Prestige Chloé Eau de Parfum (Bronze). PVM-GTR wishes to congratulate each and every one of the winners on their well-earned success. We at PVM-GTR made the conscious choice to sponsor these particular awards as they stand for innovation; a discipline that we feel very strongly about. It is the focus of our business approach, which is clearly represented by the fact that almost one third of our product range consists of innovative new products. This approach has proven to be successful and has resulted in our company being one of the fastest growing companies in confectionery.
But PVM-GTR contributed even more! For the dinner party, we supplied the dessert, which was elegantly topped off with a delicious chocolate decoration shaped like a Chupa Chups logo. We can truly say that this event was enjoyed by all and we are proud that we were able to contribute to its success.

PVM-GTR Awards
In addition to the Buyers Forum Awards, we at PVM-GTR took it upon ourselves to put a number of our clients in the limelight. Our reason for doing this was that we felt that each of them had earned a prize for innovative and groundbreaking business approaches in various areas of Travel Retail. And the winners are:

  • Overall Performance Aelia
  • Best Growth Performance: EDF
  • Best performance in Visibility: Eraman

    And last but not least:
  • Distribution Performance: James Richardson
The winners all received their awards with pride and we were happy to express our gratitude for their partnership in striving for mutual business success in Travel Retail.

The Scene
Everybody at the TFWA Exhibition was there and everybody agreed: The Scene was thé place to be. A trendy party tent with a great atmosphere, the perfect place to go after a hard day’s work at the show! Participants would come to the Scene to unwind and catch up with business partners and friends. PVM-GTR sponsored this successful establishment by supplying our famous Chupa Chups wheels, which were conveniently displayed on the bar. At the end of the evening, visitors would be standing around with a drink and a Chupa Chup lolly – a perfect combination for a fun night out.
