PVM GTR growth proves large(r) potential for sugar confectionery.
PVM GTR has always firmly believed that a more equal representation of worldwide consumption of chocolate and sugar confectionery (50/50) would help boost sales in Travel Retail. Now our approach seems to be true, said PVM GTR.
Despite the global crises, leading to less confectionery sales, Mentos® and Chupa Chups® sales increased significantly at almost all PVM GTR customers. The 2009 PVM GTR growth of almost 20% has made them a top 10-confectionery supplier¹ in most regions. Moreover they have become the fastest growing confectionery supplier¹ in global travel retail.
PVM GTR added that they wish to thank all customers for their contribution to this wonderful result and with a Christmas donation of $1000.00 to the charity ‘The Smile Train’ they feel there could not be a better way to do so.
PVM GTR’s outlook for 2010 is extremely positive. The order outlook in place shows a double-digit growth year-to-date P02-2010 vs year-to-date P02-2009!
