Information about the processing of personal data

In accordance with applicable data protection legislation, Perfetti Van Melle Nederland B.V. (hereinafter referred to as “ PVM ”) informs you that the personal data (hereinafter referred to as “ Personal Data ”) you have provided to PVM will be collected and processed under the supervision of PVM, in accordance with the following:

 

 

a. Purposes and lawfulness of the processing

 

Processing your Personal Data is necessary to answer your question and/or to process your data to become a business partner. PVM will process this Personal Data, which may also include special category data such as health status, race, ethnicity, trade union membership, and religious beliefs, to properly address your question, suggestion, or complaint.

 

 

The processing of the Personal Data may be carried out electronically and manually, on the basis of logical criteria that are compatible and functional with the purposes for which the Personal Data are collected, and always in accordance with the applicable legislation on the protection of personal data.

 

 

b. Scope of communication and dissemination of data

 

The Personal Data will be processed solely by personnel authorised by PVM to do so, or by third party companies (including any other companies of the PVM Group), institutions or professionals which, as data processors, perform specific processing services or activities which are supplementary to the above-mentioned purposes. The Personal Data will not be distributed in any way.

 

c. Transfer of personal data to a third country

 

 

In order to handle your question, suggestion or complaint, it may also be necessary for some of the Personal Data to be transferred to third countries where the Perfetti Van Melle Group is present.

 

d. Retention period

 

Your personal data will be retained for three years after your question, suggestion, or complaint has been handled. After that, your personal data will only be retained to the extent necessary to comply with any legal requirements that may require PVM to retain your personal data for a longer period.

 

e. Rights of the data subject

 

PVM informs you of the right to access and rectify or erase Personal Data, to restrict or object to processing, as well as the right to data portability and to cancel the consent given, by means of a written communication addressed to Perfetti Van Melle Nederland BV, Postbus 3000, 4800 DA Breda, or by sending an e-mail to pvmdpo@perfettivanmelle.com (mailto:pvmdpo@perfettivanmelle.com) for the attention of the Data Protection Officer.

 

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a Supervisory Authority.
